Hunting Paradise: Nicole's Kitchen & Lounge

I guess we all need little retreats from life every once in a while, and i choose to make mine a paradise hunting session each time. Let us say i'm following the crowds, visiting the famous places and trying to find the hidden gems in each area along the way.

So my family and i were initially looking for places that are cool (as in temperature) to chill in. Therefore we drove all the way around Bandung and Puncak area, explained why i did not miss this Nicole's Kitchen & Lounge, which was quite talked about as one of the famous places in Bogor.

The place was chill, mainly decorated in white, which brought some elegance to the place itself. It was windy when we reached there, thankful enough it was not raining in the city of rain for us to enjoy the venue enough.

There were cute 'huts' like the ones you'd perhaps see as romantic places to hang in with your loved ones, with mattresses you can lay on.

And then there was a dome as well in the front, and with perfect lighting, the white nuance will lead you to questioning whether or not you were in heaven.

As for the closings, they have beautiful corners and spots for perfect white OOTD pictures. So, get your gears on if you come visit. We honestly did not eat much, we ordered some wings and three drinks to munch on. The taste and prices were okay, we spent around 150K for three girls. Worth the pictures a lot, though.

Staycation at JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta: part 1.

I know the name JW Marriott wouldn't sound unfamiliar in your ears, and yes, this is the JW Marriott, 5 stars hotel i am talking about.

Located in the heart of Jakarta, in the Bundaran Mega Kuningan, this hotel gives you the easiest access anywhere. A few bars and dine places are well-situated nearby this hotel so fret not if you'd like to grab more munchies other than the signature dishes from the hotel itself.

These photos are taken by the pool side. The pool itself is not very big, but still so finely treated as a private pool, where you can relax and feel yourself at home easily. The green environment is well re-lived despite the business of the city - all the traffic and sort.

and if you'd only like to sit back and relax, instead of dipping in, these lovely benches are the ultimate answer. Why won't you sit and enjoy the vibe with me then?

Oh and if you are looking for something more exploring, take a walk along the path around the park area next to the gazebo. and snap some photos while doing so, i mean.

Tips:

Do explore every corner of the hotel to find best snaps, and add spa package for an ultimate relaxing getaway. Picking up food delivery is only available at the very front lobby so make sure you wait in the right lobby :)

Renewal Moves

I actually am very interested in the development of my dearly beautiful hometown, from a small-rural-conservative city to a constantly-developing-modernized city. If only i can find the proper words to describe it. Truth is, i knew this city to be a highly conservative city, a city that maintains all the simple details it has about life processes. Now, the city has finally opened up to more things to come, including developments and buildings here-and-there, facilitating new malls, hotels, and absorbing great architectures, well hopefully, lifestyles.

Once we heard that a new area is being built imitating the colorful architecture and vibes of Europe, i cannot resist paying them a visit, perhaps snapping a thing or two, well, ended up having more than 10 snaps though, there. 

The area has a quite well classic views, featuring a lot of bright colors combined with the graceful white, which is always my fave color when it comes to fashion photo, so i snapped these outfits for you all :)

Well, as a conclusion, i am thrilled that my city is now evolving, turns out this back-home-visit might be another exploration trip to a renewed city.

Cold Press ID: Detox and Weight Loss Program Review

So a couple weeks ago, this sporty coolbag was delivered to my door steps, and so i think, today is finally the day i get to try this detox program from Cold Press ID, 

a famous brand for cold-pressed juices.

I am quite happy they came in such fancy coolbag, making it a lot easier for me to bring my juices anywhere without having to worry and getting hassle bringing all the bottles.

When they asked me which program i'd like to try, in a flash, i know what i was going to choose, and just exactly, i know you girls will also choose this one, Skin Glow and Weight Loss! Well, everyone knows how fond we girls are of diets and its fellas.

So the program required me to drink 6 bottles of juices in a day, which means i had to gulp in 18 bottles of juices during my 3-days program. No worries though, they had the daily package sent in every day so it's completely free of preservative and freshness checked.

1. Green Boost: Cucumber, Spinach, Mexican Turnip, Lettuce Romaine, Celery, Bokchoy, Green Lettuce, Kale, Apple and Lemon.

To be honest, i was not a really big fan of veggies, well thats until now, i guess. So, the first bottle was quite a kick and since the schedule had it first in the morning, it sort of opened my eyes really. But i guess, there's a lot of goodness in it.

And this one opened my eyes even more. I personally think these two juices had a role in destroying my appetite and it actually worked!

2. Lean Green: Pear, Orange, Cucumber, Spinach, and Kale

3. Roots Exotic: Cucumber, Beet Root, Apple, Carot, Lemon, and Ginger

They said this will clean my liver and kidney. There's ginger in it so it kind of stung a bit, but i guess this was an easier gulping than the first two indeed :)

4. Longevity: Blueberry, Grape, Cucumber, Pear and Apple.

This one is one of my two favorite! This felt like quite a happy bottle since it tasted a lot more fruity. Cheers to a long life!

5. Lean Green: well, gotta have to pay for the joy the last bottle gave!

6. Fountain of Youth: Carrot, Strawberry, Blueberry, Apple, and Cucumber.

Another bottle of joy! I started to think they are really smart to put this last because of the pleasant feeling it gave on the finish line of the program. Smart! and young :)

And they sent me daily package on the last day. These juices are rather smaller, about half the size of the weight loss detox bottles. And these juices are way better in taste! In love with the whole package, but as always, will always have my favorite.

These juices really got me feeling excited throughout the day. As usual, they came in 6 pawns per day. The flavors got me jumping, as i think, these juices were not just healthy, but also tasty.

This. is. my. fave. Berry. Hunter.

The name tells it all. This one contains Strawberry, Pineapple, and Watermelon.

So as a summary, the four days program including the daily juices had me:

- lost my appetite which results in less eating

- a more balanced and controllable hunger

- better sleeping (i guess i was full so i sleep better?)

- lost 4 pounds in 4 days

- reduced late night cravings

See-through.

Just because i look utterly pale in this picture doesn't mean i am getting whiter. Here i am, writing occasionally in the middle of my well-deserved holiday, after finally resigned from my old office some of you might have gained some knowledge of. 

Thank you so much for all the support, and i know it's time for me to recharge and perhaps building something more in the future.
