Welcoming Kose Cosmeport Japan to Indonesia [EVENT + REVIEW]

I’m here to actually do a review of Clear Turn Sheet Masks by Kose Cosmeport which officially just launched in Indonesia! I know that maybe you feel like you have seen this sheet mask somewhere? And yes you are correct! This sheet mask is so popular in Japan and a lot of people actually do ‘jastip’, well I did. And do you remember when I was sponsored by Kose for a tour to their head office in Tokyo last year? I brought home many of this too~

But before we actually get down to business, let me inform you of something very important now, that Kose Cosmeport has REALLY launched in Indonesia, as we all witnessed the kick-off event last Tuesday at Four Seasons Indonesia. This means that you can seriously grab their products at your nearest drug stores, do not have to go all the way to Japan or pay someone to buy for you.

Let me tell a bit about the event, so the event started with some Japanese dance which was probably ceremonial, enjoyed these though. Reminds me of the fun times I had in Japan with Kose too.

Then, a skin care launch always needs to be topped off with a good skin talk, this time from various speakers, starting from Dr. Edwin Tanihaha, an expert In skin, obviously, then Ms. Nurhayatini as the Product Manager of Kose Cosmeport Indonesia, and finally Ms. Yuanita Christiani as a role model for the product usage. Well, nothing beats getting new infos about our skin!

So Kose Cosmeport brought in at least four of their amazing brands, which were: SUNCUT (sun protection products), SOFTYMO (gentle cleansing products), JE L’AIME (distinctive hair products), and CLEAR TURN (the ‘IT’ Sheet Masks in Japan which has been the number 1 Sheet Mask in Japan for 8 consecutive years).

Trust me when I say, Kose had been very kind to actually deliver me the whole package of everything, all of the four brands combined, for me to pamper myself well. Hence, I am going to share with you guys about each of them!

JE L’AIME - Do You Treat Your Crown Well?

Now how about we talk a bit about hair products, since many girls have actually forgotten to take care of hair, the crown, and focuses more on skin. I am not saying it is wrong, but it probably would be even more perfect if you also take care of your crown, right Princess? I do love to take care of my hair, and I have been very selective in choosing hair products, especially when it comes to Shampoo, because it is definitely something our hair deals with everyday, or every two days, and I think it is almost like the most important part of your hair products.

This Je L’aime series confirmed on not having silicone nor sulfate in their products, and using natural ingredients like Lavender and Calendula for extra moisturization without leaving hair oily. I tried once and I liked the shampoo so much, because it has fresh floral and fruity scents, and it creates volume to my hair, making it bouncy and not weighing it down because of the less amount of oil left. The ends also feel softer and silkier.

SOFTYMO - Have You Cleansed Well?

Softymo range is a range of cleansers that cleans makeup and dirt of any kind from face, leaving it moisturised, takes away dead skin cells, and takes care of pores. Now that is a lot for a cleanser. That itself is already enough reason why I needed to try them out. Also not to mention that this one is Yuanita’s favorite cleansing product.

First, the Speedy Cleansing Oil. It contains mineral oil and jojoba oil, which removes everything, including sunscreen from your face, true to the fact that some facial washes do not. It is ultimately fragrance-free, which I super like because as you all know I actually like my face products unscented more. I only needed to use 1,5 pumps to rub clean my whole face for around 10 seconds, and it sure does the job.

The second step, is always facial wash, and this time I am trying out this Softymo Washing Foam Hyaluronic Acid. The formula is thick and creamy, but it transforms to foamy cloud once you rub with water. It is very economist since you can only use two dots of products at most per one use. Can last a lifetime?

SUNCUT - Are You Fully Covered?

Here comes the sun! As much as you and I love the sun, we both know that there are definitely some well-known downsides of sun rays, such as creating dark spots, burnt skin, bla bla. Then we definitely need to get our skin well protected while we play under the sun.

So this sun screen has SPF 50 PA++++. It has light texture, non sticky, and it is spray, so you don’t need to get your hands dirty :D The content is liquid and transparent, and absorbs super quickly.

CLEAR TURN - Extra Care Maybe?

Now onto my favorite part, sheet masks! Need I mention again that this one is the number one sheet mask in Japan for 12 years. And we all know Japanese women/girls are known for their baby skin, so could this be their secret?

Let us take a little peek to their product informations, duh, everything is written in Japan but I was able to gather some important informations, like the facts that they have three variants, Clear Turn White Mask Hyaluronic Acid, ‘Clear Turn White Mask Collagen & ‘Clear Turn White Mask Vitamin C. Mine were the vitamin C ones.

Each sheet masks contains 22ml of beauty essence, as written on the packaging, and the sheet masks are made out of Bemliese (cotton fiber) that specially chosen for best absorption. When I opened the packaging I could totally see that the sheet mask was DRENCHED, as in super wet of goodness.

Can you see how drenched it was? It also had no scent, no color, no oil, no alcohol (ethanol), just pure goodness. It is not everyday that sheet masks are this wet, you know.

So I tried them on. It definitely had some cooling sensation, I wonder how even greater it would be if I had put them inside a refrigerator.. Oh and they also had eye covers, which I did not put on when I took the pic, but as a pro tip: damn they really know how to get us relaxed. Close the eye lid masks for full relaxation. It only needed 10 minutes, but I sure can’t resist extra minutes.

Now after the masking time, if you guys had seen on my instagram story, I definitely had shared how my skin felt MUCH moisturised and glowing right after I took off the mask. It was instant for me. I saw redness going away, the coloration just got better, more even with no extra redness. It just gave me an extra boost. Like they said, masks will help you moisturize, soothe, detox, and brightens. True for this one!
