Christmas Dinner ya di Gastromaquia | From Madrid to Jakarta [REVIEW]

And so here we are approaching Christmas. Again.

The most favorite holiday of the year!

My favorite month is finally here and i am planning my holiday events, as per usual.

Kayak biasanya, aku mau christmas dinner, just because i want to feel the christmas vibe.

Aku yakin kalian juga mau, so thanks to Clozette, yang udah ngajakin aku ke Gastromaquia, dulu aku pernah review juga pas Christmas tahun lalu :)

As you all might have known, Gastromaquia jadi memang udah terkenal banget dengan konsep cafe-nya yang instagram-able yah. Kali ini, tema-nya Christmas, udah berasa banget yah tema Natal-nya.

Always love the concept they bring every season, last time i visited was when we were celebrating Islamic New Year and they also decorated well!

Since the last time i opted to be seated at the second floor, so i opted to be seated at the first floor now. I explored the first floor, and still in love!

Totally loved the bar area, where we can hang and get drinks, and loved the ambience of the cashier area too, look at all the pretty things hanging.

If you are a fan of white corner, they do have too, monochrome feed won't suffer :)

Now these are the seasonal happy stuff. This year the christmas tree is this blue balls with gifts underneath. Loved how they pick the color selection.

These are the things that i ordered.

Iberico Ham and Rocket Salad in Citrus Dressing (145k)

Iberico Ham, adalah Ham termahal di dunia yang diproduksi di Spanyol dan Portugal. Daripada kamu bayar mahal-mahal tiket untuk pergi ke Spanyol atau Portugal untuk nyobain, colong-colong cobain disini dulu aja! Kalau untuk rasanya, i just love how salty the ham is ( aku suka asin ya for the record), rotinya juga crispy, enak banget bikin balance banget pas dimakan bareng. 

Pork Paella with Grilled Pork Belly (145k)

Now isn't this gorgeous? Sepiring penuh pork. I am a fan! Hidangan khas Spanyol ini ditata dengan super cantik dengan kerupuk kulit babi di atasnya, potongan-potongan daging babi kecil-kecil yang menyatu dengan paella-nya, dan grilled pork belly yang ada di atasnya. Lebih banyak dagingnya daripada nasinya guys. Just the way i love it!

Flan with Caramel Sauce (145k)

Flan ini agak kayak puding panacotta gitu, ada rasa burnt caramel-nya sedikit dengan side-nya ada jeruk enak banget. Manis dan seger. A nice closure to the lovely set, indeed!

Christmas Mocktail - Merry Berry (145k)

Yang ini rasanya rasa strawberry, ada dua pilihan, mangga sama strawberry. Rasanya seger dan manis, agak kayak juice tapi lebih light terus seger.

Untuk semua menu di atas cuma bayar 275++

Nah, selain menu Christmas-nya, aku order juga beberapa menu lainnya. 

Cheese Quesadilla (45k)

I always have a thing for quesadillas. Aku suka banget chicken quesadilla Gastromaquia, dan i have to admit aku lebih suka yang chicken quesadilla daripada yang cheese, soalnya yang cheese ini gak ada dagingnya, yaiyalah namanya aja cheese yah. Maybe i just couldn't be vegan, ever. 

Crispy Squid with Beef Bacon 

To be honest, i don't quite remember the name. But it was something like that. Tapi ini enak! So gewd. Crispy squid with beef bacon, sukaa. Loved the black ink, sama ada saus ijo-ijonya suka juga rasanya kayak asin asin gurih.

Highlight of the day for me.

Had a great soothing time and food here.
