Starting It Out with Starting Treatment Essence from Secret Key | [REVIEW]

So today we are going to talk about Secret Key, a Korean brand that recently entered Indonesian Market through Sociolla, our favorite beauty products selling website.

Precisely, the product that we are going to review today is the mighty Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence Rose Edition, aku singkat jadi STE aja ya.

Before we proceed, let's talk about essence; essence ini apa ya?

Essence ini adalah rangkaian skin care penting yang bisa berbentuk cream, liquid, atau gel. Fungsinya ini adalah untuk menyiapkan kulit kita untuk step selanjutnya. Essence ini texture nya lebih ringan dan less concentrated than serum, cenderung terserap lebih cepat, sudah mengandung anti aging dan brightening, kalau untuk si STE ini.

Packaging wise, ini cantik banget box-nya. Terlihat classy dengan kombinasi putih dan rosegold.

Ya aku bakal ngomongin soal bottle nya ya, made out of frosted glass, the bottle is soo pretty with metallic rose gold accents. Agak sedikit berat, agak medium weight, tapi enggak berat banget, cenderung gives you the feeling that this product is expensive, bukan produk asal-asalan.

The cap is silver-colored, looks very high-end to me.

When i opened the bottle, a mild scent bursts out, and i love it. It's mild, calming, nearly not there. That's how i like my skin care scents!

When we talk about ingredients; basically the main ingredient of this STE is Galactomyces; a powerful substance in making notable changes on your skin, proven scientifically, and is used by several other very famous brands, usually priced high for its capability.

The other main ingredients are;

- Niacinamide (brightening effect)

- Adenosine (anti - wrinkle)

- Grapefruit Extract (antioxidant)

- Perilla Leaf Extract (anti bacterial and anti inflammatory)

- Rose Water (hydration)

As for the texture, it's very light, thin, quickly absorbed, not tacky at all. I would say that it fixes your skin quite immediately. If you ask me how to use it; my method would be to use it 3-4 layers in one usage. Why? Because it makes my skin smoother and plumper like baby skin, notable, quite instantly. I do not see this on just 1 layer. Although this method will make my essence bottle empty faster, i do like seeing instant results! :)
