So a couple days ago, we were having some fun at the launch of Shu Uemura RD163 Lipstick with Beauty Journal, and i'm ready to recap all for you.
Held in Kilo Kitchen Lounge, South Jakarta, the party is red-themed, just like the product it launches. It was attended by many influencing people, including media and bloggers.
Now what is RD163?
RD163 is a shade of red, invented for everyone. Shu Uemura launched 54 shades of RD Lipstick this year, and among all those gorgeous shade, they want to highlight the RD163, one that they are positive to steal everyone's hearts.

Shu Uemura had it tested on approximately 3000 Asian women in Asia, and found that it suits almost everyone, means slaying on every skin tone and undertone. This red is made out of the combination of blue and yellow, just so neutral, cool, and warm undertone can all wear it.
Why do we have to wear red?
Erlangga Rahman and Zsazsa as representatives of Shu Uemura explained, that the red they are presenting means power, passion and prosperity. As Shu Uemura originates from Japan, it is not a secret anymore that also in Japan, red is considered a very strong color. It is the color of celebration, award, and beauty. Geisha, Lanterns, and Company Stamp of Approval are all in red.
That is just how important red is.

Let's talk about the new talk of the town, this baby RD 163.
This is the box packaging, very bold, very different, edgy, trendy and iconic, yes?

There are three finishes to the RD163 Lipstick, which are Matte, Satin, and Lacquer.
I should really say that my favorite is the Satin. It is non-drying, texture is not too 'wet', it just gives me that fresh glow. It is damn very pigmented too. If you are looking for something that stays there all night all day no transfer whatsoever, might as well pick the matte one.
It is a bit heavier, but stays still.
The Rouge Unlimited Series itself has 122 shades, including the best-selling RD 163.
That's me having fun with the Hook It Up game, where i throw light stick circles to those stacks of lipsticks hoping three of them stick so i can win prizes.
Then there was also pouch painting and beauty demo by beauty advisors, plus personality testing through a smart screen.
